like taking that day week year off even though you’re terrified you’ll fall behind (bc you OVS need to hustle every day to ‘make it’ right?!)
(aka the time my ‘super successful’ biz was making me money… but not happy, so I dropped everything & I took a year to myself )
So how did I get here?

when you have to get up in 4 hours and think NOPE, Decide you want to be an entrepreneur & quit your job the next day…
when you start selling cards at the farmers market & taking freelance design clients on the side…
and when you say, “freelance clients”, you mean FREE-lance bc you literally do everything for free… charging actual money is scary AF… 🙈
When you start your first email list (which never seems to grow past 48 people BTW) and your fav pastime is hunting down unsubscribers on facebook to judge them for leaving you (true story)
when it’s a year later and you take a part-time job because you’re making negative money…

when you have no idea what to write but hit publish EVERY DAMN WEEK… even if your writing is pretty damn terrible
when you blog for a year and PAID freelance work is finally coming in! Time to quit job #2!
When you join Marie Forleo’s Bschool & you find your people!! 💗💗💗 both online & off!!
when you host your first webinar ever & panic bc you OVS have no idea what’s your talking about…
when your workshop is actually a major hit! Now people are asking if you do
when you teach your first online course and sleep maybe 1 hour the night before… #omgnoIcantdothis #whatwasithinking
when you’re sure every email you get for the next couple weeks is a livid refund request…
when your class is a hella’ success & you make more money than you usually make in 1 year…
when you celebrate by taking your sisters to see Taylor Swift in Toronto! (bc life goals!)
when you’re 4 years in, have over 10,000 subscribers & getting interview/speaking requests in your inbox… like OMG WHAA!
when you technically have ‘made it’ but are feeling like something is still missing…
